Who should attend?

Delegates selected to attend the Summit have demonstrated the ability to effect environmental and social change through their occupations. Delegates have a good understanding of global, regional or local issues in the areas of environment, sustainability, social capital and poverty. They also typically have links to and/or the support of home country or international organisations. The delegate mix will  be geographically and demographically diverse.  

The Summit organising committee values diversity and sought to balance the selection of delegates from locations around the world. As the Summit is being held in conjunction with CHOGM, the Summit organisers attempted to ensure all Commonwealth nations were represented.

Delegates will not be discriminated because of gender, ethnicity, race, religion or sexuality.
