IYPF Friends & PartnersThe IYPF has developed partnerships with existing organisations and networks that have a similar vision to the IYPF’s and wish to pursue similar goals and objectives. Current friends and partnerships of the IYPF are: TakingITGlobal TakingITGlobal (TIG) is about encouraging young people to believe in themselves and their ability to make a difference in the world. They create environments where people are exposed to new thinking, a diversity of voices, and new opportunities. Driven by youth, their goal is to foster a sense of leadership and social entrepreneurship through the innovative use of technology, creating meaningful experiences for young people around the worldInternational Youth Parliament The International Youth Parliament is a network of young leaders in 150 countries with a vision of "youth building an equitable, sustainable and peaceful world". In July 2004, the second International Youth Parliament will convene in Sydney, Australia.World Federation of Engineering Organisations The World Federation of Engineering Organizations has as its Members the national engineering institutions of more than eighty countries, and nine International Members representing particular groups of national institutions.The Youth Employment Summit "The Youth Employment Summit is the launch of a Decade Campaign of Action, so that an additional 500 million young adults, especially youth facing poverty, will have productive and sustainable livelihoods by the year 2012." Youth 2 Youth Youth 2 Youth exists to equip young Australians aged 15 to 35 years with enterprise skills for life. Through their wide variety of enterprise skills programs, services and products specifically created for young people by young people, they help you develop the skills needed today to manage and take charge of your life!Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development The Youth Ambassadors for Development program, part of the Australian Government’s international aid department, places skilled young Australians, aged 18-30, on short-term assignments of between 3 to 12 months, in developing countries throughout the Asia Pacific region. Griffith University EcoCentre The Griffith University Eco-Centre works with University and community groups to promote sustainable ways of living and working across local and national communities through the development and delivery of collaborative environmental education programs.Foundation for Young Australians The Foundation for Young Australians is a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation committed to developing innovative initiatives that support and empower the lives of young Australians aged 12 to 25. It provides seed-funding for ideas; proactively seeks co-funding to support initiatives; and helps grant recipients build their organisational capacity to ensure long term sustainability.Australian Government Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources National Innovation Awareness Strategy This five-year strategy, developed with assistance from the business, education and scientific communities, is a significant step in harnessing the collective talent, energy and resources of all those dedicated to securing Australia's economic future. It represents a commitment to pursue excellence in research, science and technology, to build an even more highly skilled workforce and increase opportunities for taking new ideas to market.Dept of Family and Community Services, National Youth Affairs Research Scheme The National Youth Affairs Research Scheme (NYARS) facilitates nationally based research into factors affecting young people. NYARS research findings assist with the formulation and assessment of policy development and implementation by Commonwealth and State governments responsible for youth affairs.YCDO Coalition YCDO.net has been created by the Youth Creating Digital Opportunities (YCDO) Coalition.
