capital of the State of Queensland, which occupies the north-east
quadrant of
Australia. It is a very popular tourist destination, with some of
the world's best beaches within an hours drive north and south,
bordered by the Great Dividing Range to the West, and a launching point
to the Great Barrier Reef.
